My school's information has the wrong domain, how can I change this?

Hi everyone,

Hello!

I am a Sixth Form Student attempting to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack but my schools information has the incorrect domain. Is there a way that I can request for this to be changed? I am a Student at this institution, not a teacher.

To solve this, you have to contact support by opening a ticket here, select "My selected school has incorrect or incomplete information e.g. domains or campus location" and explain the issue with your academic email domain.

Thanks for reaching out! If your school’s domain is incorrect in GitHub’s system, the best approach is to contact GitHub Education support directly. You can explain that you are a student (not a teacher) and provide proof of your enrollment, such as a student ID or official school email.
You can reach them here: GitHub Education Support.
Once they verify your status, they should be able to update the domain or guide you on an alternative way to apply for the Student Developer Pack.

@mrojohns, GitHub no longer offers manual reviews, so you have to contact support and select "My selected school has incorrect or incomplete information e.g. domains or campus location", as I indicated in my previous comment, to resolve the issue with your academic email domain. Once resolved, you'll have to submit the application via GitHub's Education benefits submission form in your user settings.
