GitHub Student Developer Pack: AI Model Access Removed for New Students

Hello everyone,

I claimed the GitHub Student Developer Pack about three months ago.

At that time, several AI models such as Opus, Sonnet, and other advanced models were available as part of the pack. Recently, I noticed that these models are no longer accessible.
However, some students who claimed the pack earlier (around 6 months to 1 year ago) still appear to have access.
This creates an inconsistency for students who joined recently and rely on these tools for learning and building projects.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
If the removal was due to misuse of the program, perhaps GitHub could consider re-verification instead of removing access for legitimate students.
I would appreciate any clarification from the community or GitHub Education team.

i guess claude models are no longer be available for self-selection under the GitHub Copilot Student Plan
