Hi! This is a common issue after getting approved. Here's what to check:

1. Wait up to 24 hours — approval doesn't always activate benefits instantly. Give it a full day before worrying.
2. Check your benefits page directly — go to https://education.github.com/pack and sign in. Your active benefits should be listed there.
3. Make sure you're signed into the correct GitHub account — sometimes people have multiple accounts and check the wrong one.
4. Try signing out and back in — go to github.com, sign out completely, then sign back in and check https://education.github.com/pack again.
5. Check your approval email — it should have a link to activate specific benefits. Some partner benefits need to be claimed individually.
   If none of these work, contact GitHub Education support directly at https://support.github.com/ and mention your account was approved but benefits aren't showing.

These could be the possible reasons.
The account has been approved, but the benefits are not fully activated yet.
Some services require manual activation or redemption after approval.
There may be a delay in syncing the Student Developer Pack benefits (up to 24–72 hours).
The user might be logged in with a different email than the one used for approval.
Certain offers require additional verification or separate activation steps.
The system may still be processing the request after approval.

hope you’re doing well. I’ll explain exactly what’s happening from my side so everything is clear.

Current Status

My application has already been approved on April 22, 2026, and it’s currently showing “Awaiting Benefits.”

This means my academic verification is complete and I’m eligible for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but the benefits haven’t been activated yet.

What happens next

GitHub mentions that benefits are activated within 72 hours (3 days) after approval.

So at this stage, I just need to wait until this period is over. After that, the status should update automatically and give me access to the Student Developer Pack and all included offers like GitHub Copilot and partner services.

What I should do now

Right now, there’s nothing I need to do. Just waiting for the activation window to finish.

If it takes longer than expected

If the benefits don’t show up after 72 hours, I’ll:

Refresh the page
Log out and log back in
Wait a bit more in case of delay
Contact GitHub Support if the issue continues
