Does Bun support symbolic links? like Pnpm? #25388

I've been using Pnpm as a package manager for my projects for a very long time, but for some time I've been hearing a lot about Bun without paying much attention. It changed, I had a hard time understanding what Bun was, but I think understood it 70 percent. However, the only thing that keeps me from using it is whether, like Pnpm, Bun had efficient storage management like the latter, I did a lot of research but I didn't get a 100% clear answer, someone could explain it to me! |

Yeah Bun uses hard links (pretty similar logic to symbolic links) to only have one downloaded copy on your device. I believe this has been ever since pretty early on in Bun (personally I'd say this is like the only way to have ultra fast cached install as otherwise you have to extract or even download again) |
