Great idea. I spent a lot of time manually checking that I covered all my bases...and that's much simpler. Of course, even better is making it simpler to add metadata to a single file w/o needing a new target for it. |

(Note that the lockfiles aren't actually used yet. That will happen soon when we change the default. In the meantime, this sets up the test infrastructure.)
