Update WX Modules settings tab

  • Decide whether to remove or fix that feature
• The message "WX Modules are not fully supported yet" still appears; yet, I think all features supporting WX modules has now been implemented

What is the expected change in behavior when the checkbox is ticked?

It's ticked by default and it was intended to search for WX modules and provide WX-based port identifiers in the port list to the browser. With it unticked, it's supposed to skip searching for WX modules and prevent any WX-based port identifiers from being included in the port list.

It was mainly there to allow a user to turn of a feature that was in development. Once the feature was completed, the toggle was supposed to be removed, but was forgotten about. Seems like it never was coded to toggle anyway.

Regarding first issue. The code is written to enable/disable, but the core scanning function is still called regardless. Looking into why this is.

First issue fixed in PR #83. The problem was that the interval-based scanning for wireless (wx) ports was initiated twice, in an elusive way, causing double-scanning to occur (unbeknownst) and thus disabling it was only disabling the latest scan interval, and the first scan interval's ID was was lost.
