Launcher will not remain disconnected

In v0.9.8 of the Launcher, clicking on the websocket 'Disconnect' button successfully disconnects the Launcher from the browser. However, if then reconnects a few seconds later with no user input. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

This is a legacy remnant. The disconnect was a debugging feature for development that was left in accidentally after it was decided to make it connect (and reconnect) automatically. The disconnect feature should be removed.
