Detect and ignore URLs

Sometimes URLs are used in the text. They can easily trigger spelling errors. Notably on http, https, localhost, etc.

Ideally, detect URLs before word splitting and remove them.

It would be great to identify absolute URLs, with or without <>, and markdown links.

i think being able to use regex in the known word file would already solve many cases if we could do something like http://*

Hey @Trikke76, supporting regexes in the list of known words is a good idea 🙂 Unfortunately this won't work for excluding URLs, as they will already be split into a list of words by then (no more :// to match against).
