Any chance to get rid of the requirements for registration to access the data sets.

I would love to start using some of the polaris data sets in my research and education work, but since I limit myself to working with open data (and things behind a registration wall are not open), I can't.

I believe that the intention of Polaris is to improve best practices in our community and I do not see how this registration requirement to simply access the data helps with this.

Is there any chance to make it so that read-only access to the data is possible without registration?

Thanks for the feedback — we really appreciate it. We’ve actually just recently added support for anonymous, read-only access to Polaris datasets. It hasn’t been officially released yet, but it’s already live on main.
