Skinned VLC Player floats out of tiling range

PopOS 20.04 after recent standard upgrade

Issue/Bug Description:
Skinned VLC behaves poorly

Steps to reproduce (if you know):
In VlC Media Player, Download and use a skin to skin the player.

When window tiling is on, Skinned VLC floats randomly and there is a buggy empty space where popshell wants it to be.

This may be the same issue that VirtualBox has.

I have the same problem on mpv when i run it without a GUI (borderless), but doesn't happen on gnome-mpv.

mpv and vlc without GUI don't show the black borders that fill the window's unused space to compensate with the user interaction at resize. Which in turn, might make max-width and max-height calculations for tiling not work as intended.
Also remember video players are constrained to static resolution ratios. i.e. 16:9, 4:3, 16:10

Virtualbox has a static size window also, so it might be having the same kind of problem.
