Weekly Community Check-In #120 - ✍️ Draft your Outreachy Proposal

Hi everybody! 👏

We all at Public Lab 🎈 - learn, grow, work, brainstorm ideas, contribute together so why not share about our weekly goals and the awesome work we have done at Public Lab with each other, so we can support and collaborate with each other better. We have a Community Check-In each week, where every community member can share something about their work from the past week and about their current week's goal 🎯 . You are also welcome to share fun-fact 😄 , new ideas 💡 , your learning goals ☑️.

We believe in collaborative efforts to support our community. We are running a learning platform that helps a newcomer to become the leader of tomorrow. 💯

⏳ Draft your Outreachy Proposal

The deadline for the Outreachy final applications is Nov 5, 2021 at 4pm UTC. Applicants are encouraged to start drafting their proposals in order for mentors to review their proposals and give feedback. You can read about how to draft your proposal here.

We appreciate all of the contributions from first-timers who have contributed both for Hactoberfest and Outreachy.

These are issues that are of high priority and requests from our
large community that uses the software.

bug the issue is regarding one of our programs which faces problems when a certain task is executed

We will very much appreciate any help on these issues. Any contributor who is looking for issues to work on please consider taking a look at these.

I'm thinking -- if folks have completed a first-timers-only issue themselves, we do have a backlog of people looking to complete their first issue. We'd love help from folks who've recently done one in order to help other newcomers get their first one!

I like here how all the issues are divided like it is different for the first timers and then for non fto candidates. I am getting to explore and enhance my skills and knowledge here. Also the help and support provided by you mentors is just incredible. I am loving to contribute and to keep working with you. Thanks you so much for all the guidance.
