Currently it is possible (thanks to @hunner ) to use this module with PE by passing in parameters for the pe-related paths/package names. We should be able to do some stuff in params.pp to try to detect PE automatically and set up the appropriate defaults; thus the params would be available for explicit override but wouldn't be required.
