Add ability to exclude projects from search

Hi There,

I several times found that it is quite difficult to find an appropriate library in package index.

So my idea is:
Query should be one like in a webshop: checkboxes should use to select from attributes.
(topic, environment, category etc) It would be good to put a "do not want" column as well.

For example once I wanted to search for a cryptographic library and I found the following page
https://pypi.python.org/pypi?:action=browse&c=401

It contained 424 libraries.
I would like to select for example desktop, security, sofware development from topic, and do NOT want any framwork reated libraries (django, flask etc)

This repository is for the next-generation PyPI at https://pypi.org/, which already has a "filter via checkboxes" feature (although it is currently broken due to #1712).

For example, your desired search would be something like this.

yes, I thought exactly to this. (actually I saw the warehouse in working just now; I dd not know where it is.)
The one thing is missing (I think) is the ability to exclude something. For example as I mentioned in my example, I wanted to exclude packages the are related to frameworks (like Django, Flask etc) (as ióI wanted a standalone crypto lib.

Thanks for your suggestion, and sorry for the slow response!

Warehouse was moving along fairly slowly for a few years. Now, the folks working on Warehouse have gotten funding to concentrate on improving and deploying Warehouse, and have kicked off work towards our development roadmap -- the most urgent task is to improve it to the point where we can redirect pypi.python.org to pypi.org so the site is more sustainable and reliable.

Because we need to prioritize what we're working on, and because the feature you request is not a feature that already exists on the old site, I'm annotating this issue to suggest that it's ok if Warehouse developers don't get to it till after other issues that are more urgent. But I do think it would be good for PyPI users to have more advanced search capabilities, as you suggest and as users in #727 suggest. Thank you for laying out this idea!
