I am getting the following error running rabbit on MacOS monterey 12.1 (21C52)

unlockFocus called too many times. Called on <GdkQuartzView: 0x7fb3b1207580>.

The presentation will not properly proceed to the next slide and jumps back and forth between slides.
Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Umm. This may be a problem of GTK 3.
We should try upgrading GTK to 4 from 3.
