extension fails to activate on Windows

Here's a trimmed version of the error logs (with stack traced omitted). The only thing that stands out as possibly relevant is this:

Unresolved requirement: Require-Capability: osgi.ee; filter:="(&(osgi.ee=JavaSE)(version=25))"

Anything else I can try to debug or fix?

I also tried switching to JDK 25 with:

    "java.jdt.ls.java.home": "C:\\Program Files\\Eclipse Adoptium\\jdk-25.0.0.36-hotspot",

But this also fails to activate, albeit with different errors. These seem relevant from the logs, but I'm not an expert.

I guess this is the key message: The workspace exited with unsaved changes in the previous session; refreshing workspace to recover changes.. I would try to do "Java: Clean Java Language Server Workspace" if that works.
