RISE is a collaborative, industry-led initiative under the Linux Foundation that accelerates open-source software development for the RISC-V architecture.
This working group focuses on the language runtimes that matter most to RISE members: Java (OpenJDK), Go, Python, .NET Runtime, and JavaScript (V8 and SpiderMonkey). Our objectives are to:
- Help collaboration across companies to avoid duplication of work
- Accelerate the compilers and runtimes on RISC-V
- Communicate on the readiness of the respective ecosystems
