[FIXED] Integration not yet ready to run with homeassistant 2025.07 release

The problem

The homeassistant 2025.07 release contains a bump in the pymodbus library version used.
This integration currently doesn't yet support this pymodbus version.
Please wait with upgrading your HA instance in case you have the core modbus integration enabled as well as this integration.

Also other modbus hacs based integration that rely on pymodbus could be incompatible with ha core 2025.07

Thanks for the warning. I have 331 entities that would have been very upset without this warning. Hopefully this can get fixed up sooner than later.

Victron have hinted there is an official home assistant integration in the works.

I've made some changes and the code on this branch seems to be compatible with home assistant 2025.07:
feature/prepare_for_pymodbus_3_9_0 commit: c745781
#281 will be merged once I've completed further testing

v0.6.0 has just been released.
Please note that although quickly tested the release might result in unexpected behaviour/entity values.
In order to have an rollback path it is highly encouraged to upgrade this integration and, if no issues are found, upgrade homeassistant core after a couple of days.
So that you might revert the integrations upgrade while waiting for a patch release that addresses any newly introduced issue.

So I just installed it on an older homeassistant core installation and it won't start (further troubeshooting is required)

0.6.1 is now compatible with homeassistant 2025.2 up to 2025.7.
Had to drop support for ha 2025.1 due to multiple pymodbus function api breaking changes.

Ok, I guess I'll be the first one to try it out? I have 331 Victron entities so I'm probably in a better position to try it out and look for bugs. I've also manually written in all the important things into configuration through MQTT so nothing will be catastrophic. Let me start the backup processes (3GB total HA backups lol). Then install this integration followed by Core.
