Delete old instance

I did not find a way to delete an old instance. My Cerbo had to be resetted and my inverter got ID 20 (had 21 before). The new instance made it into HA, but the old one stayed. I was able to deactivate it and delete the entities, but I am not able to delete this instance. How is this possible? If not, I would make a feature request to delete instances.
