Description

Sources in a chat are references used to support an AI response and help users understand where information comes from.

Sources can appear inline within the AI message, close to the specific statement they support, or as a grouped summary at the response level. 

Scope

Implement source reference support for AI chat messages, including:

• Inline source pill inside the AI message text.
• Source summary displayed after the AI response content, in the same area as the AI message actions.
• Popover behavior for reviewing source details.
• Support for single-source and multi-source references
