This grammar is currently used in difftastic, where it is vendored in the repository. It would be more convenient for us to use the grammar as an external dependency fetched from https://crates.io. Therefore it would be helpful for us if you could upload it there.

There are readily available CI workflows to help you publish your grammar to multiple package repositories: https://github.com/tree-sitter/workflows.

Sorry, I am not a participating member of Rust-related things and have no plans ATM to become one. My current opinion is that I don't think it makes sense for a non-Rust-familiar person like myself to take on this kind of responsibility.

People are free to fork this repository, generate bindings and upload though.

I'm assuming you're also not interested in transferring this repo to an org, where other people would be able to take care of the Rust packaging maintenance (with you retaining all admin rights on the repo)? If it happens to be the case, I have started such an org at https://codeberg.org/grammar-orchard, where I would be happy to onboard you.

I've looked over the inclusion criteria listed at the link you shared and given the matter some thought. My conclusion is that I'd rather not ATM.
