Investigate possible migration out of `gpu.js/angle`

The dependency does not work with GCC 13, and it might cause even more problems down the line in the future. Temporarily, we might want to add a disclaimer in the README regarding manually installing and using GCC 12 when doing yarn install or yarn add to make sure the dependency builds correctly.
