There are now instructions in README.md and on the main page, and a CITATION.cff file. I still think we should provide guidance tho - how about,

Suggestion:

(in paper) “We used sourmash to do x y and z (Pierce et al., 2019).”

(in methods) “We used sourmash vXYZ (latest JOSS citation).”
