In the meantime, Apache WSS4J 4.0.0 is out. This required an upgrade of Santurio as well.

The upgrade (be it 3.x or 4.x) requires, unfortunately, the configuration of a new maven repository as recent version of OpenSAML aren't available on Maven Central.
