Package Control builds the package with git archive, so files without export-ignore end up in the installed package. This adds root-anchored export-ignore rules for the development files that are currently shipped:

  • .gitattributes
  • .github/
  • pyproject.toml
  • tests/
  • uv.lock

Checked with git archive HEAD: only these entries are removed from the archive.

UvVenvManager installs the server from the package's pyproject.toml and
uv.lock, but #174 left those out of the package, so the next release
would fail to start the server. They now live in server/, which is part
of the package, while the root pyproject.toml only holds the tool
configuration and stays out of it, like in LSP-zuban and LSP-pylsp.
