Status of V2 branch #2082

Hello!
I've used swag in the past for simplifying the process of creating and maintaining API documentation, and I think it's a fantastic tool. That being said, in a recent project I've began using it again, this time via the v2 branch as my requirements are OASV3.x API docs.
I was initially relieved to find that v2 even exists, but I'm wondering since this seems to be a (very) long running branch which has significantly diverged from master, is there some kind of roadmap for the V2 becoming mainline in the future?
I am willing to put in my spare time to help the effort of making this happen, so I would like to know if that would be welcome and what sort of roadmap would be there for that to become reality.
