I should have said this in the other PR. But the main difference between swift-foundation before and after your change (other than multiroot) was the debug change. So we had a strong suspicion that it was what ends up causing the fatalError (not the underlying cause, but somehow exposes it). And it did indeed fail here. |

Yes, this now failed with the issue in swift-foundation, so it is very likely that debug vs release is what’s triggering the SwiftPM bug. |
