Toast feature?

First, Thank you for your hard work on this UI library. It's greatly appreciated 👏

Question: Does svelte-ux have toast like feature similar to the skeleton library toast?
If No, any plans adding it to the library?

Hey @lums31, thanks for the kind words. While Svelte UX doesn't have a toast feature for state management, it does have a Notification component which can be used for similar functionality (it handles the display, but you manage the $state)

With that said, I've considered adding the state side (global/context $state()). We actually had a PR started to add a toastStore() but it needed some iteration and was also happening during the move to pull all the stores out of Svelte UX into LayerStack (@layerstack/svelte-stores). I plan to create a new @layerstack/svelte-state package which are $state/$derived based versions of (most) everything in @layerstack/svelte-stores (we've even started on a few of these as part of the massive LayerChart Svelte 5 migration PR).

In summary:

• Rolling your own toast state (add/remove to collection) with Notification component is available now
• Adding a new toastState() to @layerstack/svelte-state is planned, but no ETA
• Possibly register a toastState() instance within Svelte UX's settings() or expose as some singleton and maybe add into AppLayout. Maybe just adding a ToastContext component to render the Notification instances (need to explore the best API)
