We can probably re-use the logic for removing banned competitors here - but in this case, the anonymized registration might need to be deleted entirely? Otherwise validations for the comp will fail?

(Otherwise, it will yield errors when trying to update the WCIF of that competition)

Another option would be to:

• change the registration to rejected
• implement an exception to the check for dob and country if the user is anonymized (if we don't have a good way of checking anonymization, we could check for rejected status
• we should probably also prevent an anonymized user from being given a non-rejected status

On one hand, that might be better/more elegeant. On the other, that's a lot of custom logic compared to just deleting a registration.
