I'm sorry, it's very neat that you got this working and that it solves what you need, but I do not want to support or maintain Alpine versions, especially as upstream PostgreSQL doesn't actually officially support it (as seen exhibited in the issues users have with it). ❤️ |

I successfully migrated a v16 postgres database to v17 with these changes. Alpine offers no
postgres12andpostgres13though, so these oldest two versions won't build.@tianon please tell me what you think about this 😊 I'm happy to find ways to make the upgrade path for alpine rock!
