Release frequency

Hi guys, great work you're doing here!

I noticed that app updates seem to get released in batches to the catalog, is there a specific schedule for that?

I'm just curious and impatient to try a new version of one of the apps :D

CI that looks for image updates is run once a day.
Someone has to review and merge, then it is instantly available on everyone.
So that excludes weekends, holidays etc.

Each system needs to either manually refresh the catalog or wait for the catalog sync to re-run on their system.

This does not seem like the case. Audiobookshelf is about a year out of date. I opened a PR to the catalog with a bump but it has sat there since September. What does this CI script do to check the sources for updates?

I'm not sure what you mean a year out of date.

2.32.1 releases 11 days before and is already picked up.

For those that come after, I did two things wrong:

1. I was looking at https://github.com/truenas/charts and not here in apps.
2. My instance was on an older release train (24.04). Unfortunately I am sorta locked on the Dragonfish release until I have the time to recreate all of my apps 😅 .
