I'd like to propose adding a flag that when called saves the point clouds that were actually used for the buildings (or terrain) reconstruction, not the input, but the filtered point clouds after discarding the lateral points of the buildings or the terrain points not used (the ones that were thinned out).
This way the first time you run it there is no improvement, but if you have to redo the reconstructions you will skip steps, and additionally you can save space if subsequently you only conserve in your hard drive only the filtered point clouds.
Maybe another flag would also be useful to read the already preprocessed point clouds, so the software can skip the preprocessing steps.
Cheers,
Álvaro
