Describe the bug

updated Bazzite and my network adapter stoped working Mag b550 tomahawk max wifi motherboard

What did you expect to happen?

expected wifi to continue working

Bazzite switched from wpa_supplicant to IWD, so you might have to disconnect and reconnect your wifi for it to work again. See the announcement https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/bazzite-spring-cleaning-in-december-update/11408

If that doesn't work, you can switch back to wpa_supplicant by open the terminal and running ujust toggle-iwd and select "Disable".

Took me an embarasingly long time to realize that when it had asked me for a password and I entered my user password, it was actually asking me to reenter my wifi password (because of the new switch to IWD).
When it was repeatedly saying "connection failed" it was because it was trying with the wrong password.

Tried toggling power save per Bazzite docs, asked AI, reviewed Github issues. Rolled back, upgraded again. Thought I might need to do something on my router to clear the client.
Nope, just needed the correct password.
Sigh.
