Description
Describe the bug
After waking the system from suspend, it does not reconnect to the WiFi network.
- Available networks are visible in the list.
- Manual connection attempts result in a connection error.
- The connection only works again after the WiFi software switch is toggled off and on, followed by a manual connection attempt.
- This behavior started occurring after the most recent update.
System Information
- Bazzite Version: 43
- Bazzite Build: F43.20260101
- Bazzite Variant: bazzite-deck-gnome
- Kernel Version: 6.17.7-ba22.fc43.x86_64
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600M
Steps to reproduce
- Put the system into suspend mode.
- Wake the system from suspend.
- Observe that WiFi does not reconnect.
- Attempt a manual connection (results in error).
- Toggle the WiFi software switch off and then on.
- Manually connect to the network.
Technical Context
The issue appears to be a regression in the state management after resume. Although the wireless interface remains active enough to scan and display SSIDs, it cannot establish a handshake until the software toggle is used to reset the interface state.
