@Brian099 Only a backup of the database is required (to fall back in case of failure) normally.

But since Memos is still in beta v0.x.x, breaking changes can occur at any time, please review the changelog carefully to see if the new version meets your needs before upgrading.

@Brian099 I upgraded from v0.25.3 to v0.26.2 and didn’t encounter the issue you mentioned. My webhooks, language settings, and custom CSS were all preserved in the latest version.

Which version did you upgrade from and to? We might need more details to figure out what’s going on.

I meant copying the volume folder at the system level.

😢Unlike many other common Docker services, simply mapping a volume is not enough. We also need to make a copy of the volume folder, because the upgrade script introduces significant changes to the database schema, making it impossible to downgrade. (but it is unrelated to the loss of settings/preferences you mentioned
