$ machine-release -- Release from reservation
$ machine-report -- Display simple text report
$ list_machines -- Display list of machines from the backend server
$ show_machine -m machine_name -- Display detail information about the server machine
$ add_machine --help -- Display detail information about the server machine
$ update_machine --help -- Update information about the server machine
$ delete_machine --help -- Delete server machine from the backend database
$ update_machine_status --help -- Make a remote reservation. See --help for additional info.⚠ Special Case — Remote Reservation:
If the target machine cannot reach the inventory server (network isolation, firewall, etc.), you can update its reservation status from any machine that can reach the server:
update_machine_status -m <machine_name> -s reserved -r <your_name>
Note: This only updates the database. The machine's local MOTD and wall broadcast will not be updated. Run machine-reserve on the machine itself when connectivity is restored.
Here is an output from machine-status command.
$ machine-status
