This release updates our version of
getrandomto0.3andrandto0.9. It is a potentially breaking change for the following users:rngfeature (probably viav4orv7) and usinggetrandom's APIs to configure a source of randomness on those platforms. These users can upgrade their version ofgetrandomand follow its new docs on configuring a backend.wasm32-unknown-unknownenabling therngfeature as above, but without also using thejsfeature. These users can upgrade their version ofgetrandomas above, and also enable therng-getrandomorrng-randfeature ofuuidto force it to be used.If you're on
wasm32-unknown-unknownand using thejsfeature, you shouldn't see any breakage. We've kept this behavior by vendoring ingetrandom's web-based backend. What's Changed
