Mac Os Big Sur - M1 chip docker install error

When running the following command:
docker-compose -f docker-compose.elastic7.yml -f docker-compose.nodejs.yml up

I get the following error:

I managed to work around this issue by adding --platform=linux/amd64 in the API Dockerfile.

FROM --platform=linux/amd64 node:10-alpine
