Editor window can hang on first load #476

We still see some scenarios where a hang escalates to you need to restart your editor, but they are few and far between.
Right now it seems to happen about once a day, the vast majority of the times when there is an issue that creates a hang, the editor is hung up for about 30s and then the timeout kicks in, and it all recovers. We are trying to understand why this happens but it is still a bit mystery.
Usually it happens right first thing in the morning before I've had my coffee, that it will hang the whole editor at some time during the OIDC challenge (then of course it does not recur or reproduce for the rest of the day, but you can sometimes catch it doing almost the same thing by deleting the oidc token and refreshing it. Might need to do a full logout to reproduce it properly, or just be ready for debugging first thing in the morning when it inevitably pops up again 🤷)
The good news is, my experience seems it's very difficult to get this error twice. So if that holds for other users, then hopefully most users will not experience this issue very often. Welcome feedback
