"Subway" (fast-food franchise) not found in NSI?

In StreetComplete 62.2, trying to add new "Subway" fast food (using Places Overlay) in e.g. Slovenia, nothing is found when searching for "subw".
I guess it is because osmfeature does not find it (hence I'm opening the issue here)?

Is that an unintentional bug in osmfeatures, its limitation¹, or something else?

"mainland china" is not a valid iso country code and thus not supported. Presets that contain not supported elements in the locationSet are ignored. Not ignoring them might have unintended consequences, in particular, a preset could be available in a region where it shouldn't be. ("mainland china" not have an ISO code, why is it not used here? Care to check/ask/research at NSI why "mainland china" is not simply "CN"?

I rather see this as an upstream issue.
