Feature Request: Add Pattern Support to Single Product Template (Landing Page Approach) #159

As we move towards a more block-based WooCommerce experience, it would be extremely useful to start integrating patterns within the Single Product Template, especially in the Long Description or the main product content area.

This is not just about adding a single hooked pattern (like a related category block or a featured upsell). The idea is to treat each product more like a landing page — giving theme developers and merchants the tools to craft rich, structured layouts with headings, media, call-to-actions, testimonials, comparison blocks, and more.

Even though the new Product Editor is currently in Beta, we believe it’s important to start building the ecosystem of patterns now.

These patterns will make it easier to present products in a way that improves storytelling, conversion, and design consistency across a store.

This approach is aligned with what we saw in the latest starter themes — but we’d love to see it go further, focusing not only on dynamic sections but also on visual storytelling directly within the product template.

I would love to hear your thoughts on that one :)

Is there an estimated timeline for when the new Product Editor will be ready for wider production use in WooCommerce btw?
