The searching of subtitles works like in other players - but not the downloading, extracting and loading of subtitles, which would be the expected behavior - like in VLC, SMPlayer, MPC-HC, MPV (uosc) etc.
There is little to no added value in searching for subtitles within the video player if the download is done by the web browser in archived form, which I have to access separately, extract, load manually etc. (It is not much better than simply doing the search in the web browser - considering the fact that the browser ends up being opened anyway, the download occurs according to its settings etc (especially that, for the moment, the subtitles search in the player involves multiple steps anyway).
Expected behavior: after searching, finding and selecting (double-clicking) subtitles, these are automatically downloaded in subtitle form - such as ”srt” - archive is extracted an deleted - and loaded by the video player (possibly, also renamed to fit the name of the video).
Current behavior: after searching, finding and selecting (double-clicking) subtitles, these are downloaded by the intervention of a separate program - the default web browser, the download takes place in a location set by the web browser, the subtitles are archived, they have to be manually located in the file manager, extracted an loaded.
