Thanks for the report. It seems like Copilot crashed or never started properly. Could you please go to Zed logs and find the initialization logs where the Copilot server starts?

The log should be around this line:

I think I may have figure out what the issue is. My system node version was set to 20.x and the script

/Users/*****/Library/Application Support/Zed/copilot/node_modules/@github/copilot-language-server/dist/language-server.js

requires at-least node 22.x to run. This is causing the copilot feature to get stuck when its using my system node version.

Thanks, I think it would be great if we could check and log that on our end (since it looks like Copilot doesn't do it). Thanks for investigating this, we should do that.
