What is being sent by PW-Sat2?

• The satellite is expected to send a beacon message (called by us a telemetry frame) every 60 s. Transmission takes about 1 - 3 s, depending on symbol rate (how to figure current symbol rate). Single beacon message contains full, actual telemetry.

• Other types of data from satellite (e.g. results of the experiments, photos, historical telemetry) are sent only on demand (requested by the PW-Sat2 Operation Team). The only exception from this rule is main experiment - deorbit sail experiment -read more details about transmission from the sail experiment.
