Basic version bump(s) compared to intel/2016.02 (cfr. #2523).

I got official word from Intel support that Intel compilers version 2016 update 3 is compatible with GCC 5.3 (for future reference: issue ID 6000160708).

I ran a quick test with a couple other applications beyond HPL with this toolchain, since I consider this toolchain a viable candidate for intel/2016b; these builds works fine using only --try-toolchain-version=2016.03-GCC-5.3 based on the easyconfigs for intel/2016a:

  • Python/2.7.11-intel-2016.03-GCC-5.3
  • R/3.2.3-intel-2016.03-GCC-5.3
  • OpenFOAM-Extend/3.2-intel-2016.03-GCC-5.3

So: good to go.
