What steps did you take and what happened:

  • Delete an AWSCluster
  • Last deletion related event seen is:
0s    Normal   SuccessfulDeleteSecurityGroup   AWSCluster   Deleted managed SecurityGroup "sg-0ba6db45443ca32eb"

What did you expect to happen:
Expected to see additional deletion related events for NATGateway, Internet Gateway, Subnets, VPC, etc

Environment:

  • Cluster-api-provider-aws version: latest from master
  • Kubernetes version: (use kubectl version): kind v1.15.1
