A modest proposal for releasing Scala.js milestones from old tags.

It is what I am trying to use for #373.

In #373, Lukas commented with the following suggestion:

Maybe this situation is rare enough and we can just create a specific commit for that release? Something like this:
master...lrytz:new-js

Then you could create a tag v2.0.0-M1#sjs_1.0.0-RC1 (the suffix would be ignored).

Well, I only suggested it since it seems like we may have more Scala.js RC candidates in our future.
