Smart House terms glossary
Device – technical adjustment performing different functionality and can be of four types: sensor, switcher, camera and servo. (Formerly known as widgets.) Devices can be created/added in Settings page/Devices tab/Add new device page.
Sensor – type of devices that detects different states of the premise: temperature, pressure, CO2, humidity, illumination etc. Sensor can be simple sensors and sensor locks. Sensor locks detect the state of locked/unlocked for windows, doors etc.
Switcher - type of devices that detects On/Off states of electricity, conditioner and other types of devices that can be turned on or off.
Camera – video streaming type of device.
Servo – type of device that detects state of pipelines in the premise and which can be operated within 0-360 ° range.
Scenario – it is not a device but a workflow created for managing interaction between different types of devices, e.g. Change the state of a switcher depending on a sensor’s condition. Is created on Scenarios page
View – a visual entity that is created in two variants (Map view or Dashboard view) and is used for visual displaying of location and condition of each device.
Map view – type of View (sub-view) that is created in Constructor by logged user and is used for visual detection of the location for each device. Map view is displayed on Home page. Devices displayed on Map view are called icons.
Dashboard view - type of View (sub-view) that is created in Constructor by logged user and is used for visual detection of the current condition and managing for each device. Dashboard view is displayed on Home page. Devices displayed on Dashboard view are called widgets.
Default view - a sub-view (one of two) which will be displayed for a user as default. Can be Map or Dashboard view. A view can be selected as default in Constructor while creating or editing a view
Active view - a view can be selected as active in Constructor while creating or editing a view. Active view is displayed in the list of views on Home page. Can be Map or Dashboard view. Both active and inactive views are displayed in Settings page/Views tab.
Inactive view - a view can be selected as inactive in Constructor while creating or editing a view. Inactive view is not displayed in the list of views on Home page. Can be Map or Dashboard view. Both active and inactive views are displayed in Settings page/Views tab
Guest view - a view that is displayed only for not logged user. A view can be selected as guest view in Constructor while creating or editing a view. Can be Map or Dashboard view.
Icons – devices added to Map view. Display location for each device. Switchers can be managed (turned on/off), all other types are read-only.
Widgets – devices added to Dashboard view. Display current state or value for each device, its statistics and can be managed: turned on/off (switchers,), changed degree (servo).
Constructor – workflow which is used for creating and design of two types of view: Map view or Dashboard view. Is launched on Home page by clicking on “Create view” button.
Tag – way of sorting and filtering the lists of view on Home page (Map or Dashboard view), Settings page (Views tab).Tags are added in Constructor and in Settings page/Devices tab.
Home page – Smart House main (landing) page, formerly named as Dashboard. Can be empty (when no view is created) or in two variants: Map view or Dashboard view.
Devices page – page which was formerly opened from Home page, current path is: Home page/Settings page/Devices tab. Contains a list of all devices. New device can be added here.
Statistics page – current path is Home page/Statistics page. Contains statistics information for each device.
Scenario page - current path is Home page/Scenario page. Contains list of scenarios for some devices.
Settings page – current path is Home page/Settings page. Contains My Account (contains User profile info: User name, password, email), Devices, User List (formerly known as Roles and contains list of users indicating their rights - User or Admin), Views tabs (contains list of all views - active and inactive).
Help page - current path is Home page/Help page. Contains help information and Permissions description.
Sensor indicators and ranges :
Temperature – indicator: T° (C°) range: -40°/+60°.
Humidity – indicator: % range: 0-100.
Pressure – indicator: Bar range: 700-800.
Lights – indicator: Lux range: 0-100.
CO2 – indicator: ppm range: 0-2000.
