Dear @hampsterx,

thank you so much for resuming maintenance and releasing v2.0.0 right away. When updating a downstream project, the CI run got stuck because async-kinesis v2 is only available for Python>=3.10.

Do you see a chance to relax the version constraint, or did the code base inherit any new features that Python >=3.10 is strictly required?

hi no it was more about keeping it compatible with the last 3 versions of python. will relax for py39 :)
